An OHV racer at the Imperial Sand Dunes of California USA
Commonly referred to as “Glamis”, because of the old railroad town nearby, southern California’s Imperial Sand Dunes Recreation Area is a favorite spot for off-highway vehicle [OHV] enthusiast to play with specialized vehicles. The sand.dunes offer an everchanging landscape for backdrop scenery when photographing those vehicles for auto-enthusiast publications. The Imperial Sand Dunes are the largest area of sand dunes in California, about 50 miles long and 5 miles wide, located next to Hwy 78 near Glamis, California [ hence the slang name ] These images were taken for a catalog of racing safety parts.
